24-25 Oct 2024 Nanterre (France)

AI in Education / (Dis)embodied interActIons

October 24-25, 2024 at the Université Paris Nanterre

(Nanterre, France)

Advances in Artificial Intelligence (AI) are changing how languages are being taught and learned. Existing AI technologies can plan entire lessons for teachers and even provide realistic communication practice for learners; it is therefore important to analyze how these tools are being used and how they are shaping language learning experiences, and education in general.

This first international joint conference invites researchers from all over to join the discussion on this rapidly evolving field.  Specialists in a variety of fields, including but not to limited linguistics, education, communications, and public policy, are strongly encouraged to submit proposals.

**Please note that this is an in-person event.

**REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED.

**This conference is made possible thanks in large part to support (communications, organizational, and/or financial) provided by the Centre de Recherches Anglophones (CREA) at the Université Paris Nanterre, the Laboratoire Dimension Socio Pragmatique et Pragma Linguistique dans les Manuels Scolaires de Langues Etrangères en Algérie (DSPM) at the Université Abdelhamid Ibn Badis, and Associazione Nazionale Insegnanti Lingue Stranieri, particularly the ANILS Mondo network.

**We would also like to give a special thanks to the Institut d'Études Avancées de Paris for allowing us to have part of our conference on their premises.
